What to do
No action is needed; fares will update automatically.
To keep your travel costs lower, use your Bee Card and make sure any eligible concession is loaded.
Keep your Bee Card topped upopen_in_new so you’re ready to ride.
Why the change?
Running bus services has become more expensive in recent years, with higher costs for fuel, wages, and meeting new standards.
Fares haven’t changed since 2018, and we’ve worked to keep this increase as low as possible.
Updating fares now helps keep services reliable, balances the share between passengers and ratepayers, and supports central government’s goal for fairer cost recovery across public transport.
