Free park and ride for Pete's Dragon screening
McLaren Falls Park is the place to be this Saturday 4th March as Night Owl Cinema, Tourism Bay of Plenty and Waimarino present an outdoor screening of Disney movie Pete’s Dragon.
The movie focuses on an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliot – who just so happens to be a dragon!
Much of the movie was filmed in New Zealand and McLaren Falls even features in an early scene.
Bay of Plenty Regional Council have kindly put on a park and ride service for the event to help ease traffic congestion in the environmentally sensitive area. Park at the equestrian centre from 3.00pm and let one of our friendly drivers drop you off at the screening and then back to your car after.
As well as the movie (which screens at about 8.00pm) there’s food vendors, music, lake tours and activities for the whole family.
Visit Night Owl Cinema for more.
