Back to school
With school holidays nearly over and the return of the weekday morning routine imminent, it's a great time for mums, dads and caregivers to reassess their children's daily trip to school.
Those that currently drive their kids to school may be surprised by the time and money saved by using buses rather than the family car.
The Schoolhopper service run by Bay of Plenty Regional Council provides dedicated travel to seventeen different schools in the greater Tauranga area.
For flexibility of travel, more and more Intermediate and High School students are now opting to use the public Bayhopper buses too. There are fourteen different Bayhopper routes covering all corners of the city, making after school activities like sports training, music lessons and social engagements more accessible.
Keep an eye on the Bay Bus website in February for a fun promotion and chance to win prizes.
